How much caffeine causes insulin to spike in type 1 diabetics?

There are conflicting results as to the effect of coffee on insulin levels in the body of type 1 diabetes patients. While some report that it increases the insulin level, others claim it reduces it. It may be best to decrease coffee intake to be safe. Better safe than sorry.
