Should diabetics avoid coffee creamers?

While coffee consumption may reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, taking it with coffee creamers doesn't help those who already have diabetes. Like sugar, coffee creamers raise blood sugar levels, making them less than ideal for patients with diabetes.
