What is a good breakfast for a diabetic with hypertension?
Asked 4 years ago
I have both diabetes and hypertension which means I have to be really careful with my diet. I have yet to find just the right breakfast food combination that suits my dietary requirements. Can anyone please recommend a good breakfast that won't aggravate my diabetes and hypertension?

The DASH diet is ideal for you, and it's straightforward to prepare. You can;
- Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, fish, poultry, lean meat, and low-fat dairy food.
- Limit the intake of foods containing sugars, sodium, sweets, saturated fat, cholesterol, and trans fats.
- Take enough water.
Do that, and you are good to go.
