How can I bring down high blood pressure immediately?
Asked 3 years ago
I have been experiencing sporadic spikes in my blood pressure ever since my diabetes diagnosis. Is there any way I can bring down my blood pressure immediately when it happens? Is it down to rest, diet, exercise, anything like that?

There is no safe and effective way to lower your blood pressure at home using home remedies. When you are feeling spikes in blood pressure, it is advised to rest and lie down. Spikes from high blood pressure can impact be dangerous and it is advised that you consult with a medical professional regarding this. Medication can be recommended by a medical doctor to safely and effectively manage your blood pressure throughout the duration of the day. If you are worried, investing in a blood pressure machine to use at home will be helpful in conservative self-management. Should you feel your blood pressure is out of normal ranges, you can measure for it and take the necessary steps if it stays in a range that could be potentially dangerous. High blood pressure and exertion can put you at risk for a stroke or other related conditions if not effectively managed.
