What fruits and vegetables are good for diabetics with hypertension?

Asked 3 years ago

All I've been hearing about since my diabetes and hypertension diagnosis is how much natural sugars are in fruits and vegetables. Are there any fruits and vegetables that I can eat that won't make my diagnosis worse?

You should aim for fruits with a low glycemic index, as these can only raise your blood sugar slightly over a long period. health fruits for you include; Apples, oranges, bananas, mangoes, dates, pears, etc. Consider spreading your fruit intake over your meals and in a sizeable fashion too.
