I have type 2 diabetes and was recently told by my doctor that I have hypertension too. What are the potential complications of this?

When you have diabetes and hypertension, they increase your chances of developing cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, and other health issues. They can also lead to complications like eye problems, kidney failure, heart attack, and stroke.
However, if you can control your blood pressure and blood sugar level, you can limit the complications.
