What are the warning signs of gestational diabetes?
Asked 3 years ago
We have a history of diabetes in my family. I don't have it, but I'm scared that I could possibly be diagnosed with it now during my first pregnancy. What are the warning signs of gestational diabetes?

Most women will have no symptoms of gestational diabetes until around the 24th week of pregnancy. However, in a few, you may find the following early warning signs;
- A parched mouth
- Increased thirst for water
- General fatigue
You can request that your doctor tests you if you suspect you have gestational diabetes.
