Is decaffeinated coffee recommendable to type 2 diabetics?
Asked 3 years ago
I can't get enough of my coffee, and I'm worried that I will have to stop drinking it because of my type 2 diabetes. Is decaffeinated coffee okay to drink if you have type 2 diabetes?

You may not have to worry about stopping your coffee in its entirety. Research published by The American Heart Association Journal suggests that decaffeinated coffee drinkers lower the risk of type 2 diabetes. However, before including anything in your nutritional plan, it is best to consult with your dietitian or health care provider.
