Asked 3 years ago

I have type 1 diabetes and I have recently begun drinking coffee. Could this increase my chances of insulin sensitivity?

Regular coffee consumption can impair insulin sensitivity in type 1 diabetes patients. Contrarily, taking decaffeinated coffee seems to improve insulin sensitivity, according to some studies. It may be best to consult with your health care provider to see what's best for you.
